You can learn information about the weapons Misao and Soujiro use throughout the manga and anime series.
Misao's weapons
Kunai, meaning "Earth Digger" originated during the Tensho period in Japan. It was usually made of iron instead of steel, and ranged from 20cm, to 60cm in length. Surprisingly these tools were not used for weapons; instead, they were used for gardening, for the blade was left unsharpened. Ninja's adopted them for weapons, using them as gardening tools during the day and weapons during the night to not seem suspicious. There are short kunai, long kunai, narrow bladed kunai, saw bladed kunai, and wide bladed kunai types.
Misao uses these weapons often, hiding them under her Oniwabanshu or normal clothing. She places four of them between her fingers, flinging them to her target with ease. Her basic attacks are Kansatsu Tobi Kunai, meaning "Killing Flying Daggers." Heck, Misao wouldn't be Misao without her infamous kunai!
Soujro's weapons
Kikuichi-monji Norimune, which means "The Godly Chrysanthemum of Monji" was owned by Souji Okita, the 3rd Captain of the Shinsengumi. It's length is longer than normal Katana, so I'd say it's around 80-90cm long. He uses this during his last fight with Kenshin, and the techniques he uses with it are as follows. Shukuchi, "Reduced Earth" and Shuntensatsu "Instant Heaven's Kill." Overall, there isn't much information about this weapon to be found.
Nagasone Kotetsu was named after the sword smith Kotetsu, and where it was made, Nagasone. This one is shorter than the Kikuichi-monji Normine, but is much stronger and supposedly very valuable. It's length is about 2'3''5. He uses this during his first encounter with Kenshin, using his Tenken "Sword from Heaven" technique. Against the Sakubatou "Reversed Edged Sword" it was shattered, but Kenshin's Sakubatou was sliced in half. Therefore, that was the last time Soujiro was seen with this sword.
Tanto which means, "Little Knife" was first
used by Soujiro when he assassinated Okubo, which was his first appearance. It's
about 15-30cm, and used primarily for stabbing, but can be used for slashing as
well. Soujiro is seen only once with this weapon, although it was a common blade
to carry around.
